1378680 Sectional boilers SOC GENERALE DE FONDERIE 11 April 1972 [22 April 1971] 16693/72 Heading F4A A sectional boiler comprises a plurality of boiler elements E each having a surface 6 for forming part of a furnace chamber of elliptical cross-section, water circulation passages, flues 4, 5, and ribs 11, 12 13 extending from the face of the element to form passages 14 for conducting combustion gases from the furnace chamber into the flues 5. Thence they pass, through end element E 0 , to laterally inner flues 4. The water circulation passages extend between inlet and outlet headers 2 and 3.
