Abstract

1376668 Cooker hob plates SIEMENS ELECTROGERATE GmbH 10 May 1972 [28 May 1971] 21982/72 Addition to 1339590 Heading F4W A cooker hob is formed by a flat plate of toughened glass having openings for the heating elements 2, and has, for each heating element, an indicator 44 coupled through shaft 41 with an operating knob 43 and a control unit 4 for the heating element, the indicator being arranged below the plate so that it can be seen from above through it. The indicator 44 is a roll and is operated through a worm gear 42 on shaft 41. The underside of the plate is lined with a mask of aluminium having a window through which the indicator can be seen. In a second embodiment the indicator is in the form of a hollow drum open at one side and mounted directly on shaft 41. It is arranged to enclose the control unit 4.
