1357124 Refining iron AUGUST THYSSENHUTTE A G 27 July 1971 [28 July 1970] 35273/71 Addition to 1251929 Heading C7D In a modification of the process of Specification 1251929 the second stage of dephosphorization is carried out using granular iron oxide and lime, while other fluxes, particularly a boron-containing compound or mineral may be used in place of or addition to fluorspar. Preferably the grain size of the materials does not exceed 50 mm; lime and iron oxide in dust form may additionally be present.
