1349126 Time controlled radio receivers SABA SCHWARZWAELDER APPARATEBAU - ANSTALT AUGUST SCHWER SOEHNE GmbH 27 Oct 1972 [7 April 1972] 49625/72 Heading H3Q [Also in Division G3] In a wireless receiver set with incorporated time switch for automatically switching the set on or off, the switching on time and switching on period is predeterminable via preselector switches 3, 8 located on a printed circuit board of the set, the indication of the actual time is effected by electric digital indicator tubes 5 and the preselector switches have a collar 4 provided with digits and are mounted coaxially with their respective electric digital indicator tube. The wireless set may serve as an alarm in that it can be set to switch on at a predetermined time and has a switch 8, 10 to switch the set off automatically after a predetermined period of a time. A plate 1 carries a printed circuit for the receiver and the digital time switch. Between the plate 1 on which the contact leads of the preselector switch are located and an angle member 2 are switch wheels 3 of the preselector switch each having a collar 4 on which are digits corresponding to the switch positions. Contacts (6, Fig. 2, not shown) on the switch wheels 3 slide over tracks printed on the plate 1. The digital clock indicator tubes 5 are visible through cutouts 7 in the receiver housing. A further switch wheel 8 is provided by means of which the switching on period may be preselected within limits. Also provided is a switch 9 for switching off the set and a switch 10 for switching in the automatic cutout after the predetermined time preselected by the setting wheel 8.
