Abstract

1345821 Toothed gearing W SCHAEFFLER and G SCHAEFFLER [trading as INDUSTRIEWERK SCHAEFFLER oHG] 2 Dec 1971 [2 Dec 1970] 56062/71 Heading F2Q A gear-wheel 1, having two tooth systems 5, 6, is rotatably mounted on a shaft 2 by a roller bearing, consisting of rollers 3 in a cage 4, and is adapted to be coupled to the shaft 2 by a synchronizing device, the wheel being characterized in that it has imbalance. A milled-out recess 7 is provided between the two tooth systems 5, 6 to effect the imbalance which loads the bearing at high speeds of the gear-wheel so that the rollers 3 roll continuously instead of sliding.
