Abstract

1340884 Granulating fertilizers FISONS Ltd 10 Sept 1971 [14 Oct 1970] 48733/70 Heading C1B Granules containing calcium carbonate, ammonium nitrate, ferrous sulphate and optionally ammonium sulphate are obtained by tumbling or agitating the mixed materials in the presence of a liquid phase, e.g. molten ammonium nitrate or water. The granules may be coated with oil and dusted with kaolin, ball clay or kieselguhr. Undersize and crushed oversize granules may be recycled.
