A molten metal container lining is formed of 25-94% calcium silicate fibres, 1-55% refractory particles and 5-30% binder. Rock wool and slag wool are included in the term calcium silicate fibre. Specified fillers are chromite, crushed coke and expanded perlite and vermiculite, whilst binders are clay, cereals and resins. Sodium silicate is optional
