A trailer vehicle has a central spine 3 of square section to the forward end of which is secured a pair of diverging limbs 20 carrying container attaching points 7, 8. A pair of rear diverging members 13 carrying further attaching points 9, 10 are secured to a box member 5 slidably engaged with the spine 3 to accommodate containers of different lengths.
