Abstract

1,224,526. Break spinning apparatus. VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY. 16 Dec., 1968 [19 Jan., 1968], No. 59657/68. Heading D1D. In a break spinning apparatus an air cushion is formed immediately below a wall 101 separating 'the fibres being transported into the spinning chamber 12 through channel 10 from the central zone of the chamber from which the spun yarn is withdrawn. The cushion of air is formed by providing in wall 101 apertures 102 which are preferably inclined to the axis of rotation of the chamber. The outlet wall 101 may be fixedly but removably arranged on the stationary body 16, through which a central outlet channel 18 for the yarn is provided. The outlet portion of channel 10 may be dropshaped tapering in the direction of rotation of the chamber, or may be in the form of an arcuate sector. . (For Figure see next column)
