Stoppers serving secondary purposes, -The plug stopper b, Fig. 1, of a bottle &c. is formed witt a chamber c adapted to contain liquid, the only opening of the chamber being pro vided with a plug stopper c. To facilitate pouring, the neck d of the stopper b is provided with a. lip f. Fig. 2 shows the plug stopper b<1> formed with two chambers c<1>, c<2>, each having a neck d<1>, d<2> closed by a plug stopper e<1>, e<2>. Ground glass plugs or plugs fitted with cork, india-rubber, &c. may be used.
