Abstract
1,214,661. Manifold imaging. XEROX CORP. Jan.11, 1968 [Jan. 13, 1967], No.1620/68. Heading G2H. Images are obtained utilizing the manifold sets described in Specification 1, 150, 381, in which the imaging layer has a stronger adhesion for the donor sheet than the receiving sheet by (i) maintaining an electric field across the imaging layer and (ii) imagewise exposing the image layer for a sufficient time to form a positive image on the receiving sheet on separating the receiving sheet and the donor sheet, the electric field being such that on exposure for less than said sufficient time a positive image image is formed on the donor sheet.
