Abstract

1,208,663. Moulding boat hulls; laminates. D. E. COLE. 21 Jan., 1969 [23 Jan., 1968], No. 3544/68. Headings B5A and B5N. [Also in Division B7] In the manufacture of the hull 3 of a boat the cavity defining walls of a mould are lined with a skin of wet-strength paper, the cavity is then filled under pressure with plastics foam material, the hull thus formed is then removed from the mould and the skin is waterproofed, with, for example, a plastics self-colouring resin.
