Abstract

1,206,608. Hydraulic accumulators. G. L. REXROTH G.m.b.H. Oct.17, 1967 [Oct.18, 1966], No.47140/67. Heading F1P. The cylinder space beneath the compressed air loaded piston of a hydraulic accumulator 8 is charged by a pump 2 which delivers through a pressure control valve 4 and a non-return valve 5, and the cylinder is maintained fully charged with the piston in its upper end position irrespective of a pressure rise in gas supply chambers 9 caused by increasing ambient temperature by pressure in a diaphragm type accumulator 7 in parallel with accumulator 8 and upstream of a pressure reducing valve 10 in the consumer line; the control valve 4 being so adjusted that the pressure in accumulator 7 is always greater than that of the gas chambers 9.
