Abstract
1,206,255. Pressure transducers; pressure gauges. SIEMENS A.G. April 28, 1969 [April 29, 1968], No.21644/69. Headings G1L and G1N. A differential pressure transducer is protected against overloads due to a sudden loss of one pressure input by diaphragms Ml, M2 having planar central portions surrounded by indentations 9 extending into corresponding recesses 17 in the diaphragm beds 8. Radial and circumferential channels, Fig.3 (not shown) may be provided in the diaphragm beds. As shown, strain gauges 5 are mounted on a spring 4 linked to a differential pressure responsive bellows 3.
