Screw conveyers.-The screw is composed of sections each comprising a length of blade c carried by a hollow boss b which are connected by pins A, sleeves B and a shaft C. The pin A is formed with a reduced portion a<1> which is keyed to the sleeve B. The shaft C is also keyed to the sleeve Band is carried by the hanger E<1>. The sleeve B is composed of two half sleeves B<1>. B<2> connected by a bolt h and having portion c' of the blade welded thereto. One of the sleeves B<1>, B<2> may be integral with the pin A.
