Abstract
1297541 Fluid Pressure servomotor systems ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 24 Feb 1970 [25 Feb 1969] 8710/70 Heading G3P A control valve comprises a housing 1, a control member 3 slidable in a bore 2 of the housing for controlling a connection between inlet 4 and an outlet 5 and having an end face 34 acted upon by fluid from an independent source via a passage 17 and a throttle 19 in a longitudinal bore 18 of the control member 3. With the pilot valve 26 shut, fluid pressure in chamber 20 connected to the pilot valve 26 via line 31 builds up to the pressure of fluid at the inlet 4 and the spring 21 biases the control member to the position shown in Fig.1. If the fluid pressure at the inlet becomes greater than the value set by the pilot valve 26, the closure member 30 lifts off its seat to allow fluid to flow to the reservoir via line 32 and the resulting pressure drop across the control member 3 causes it to connect the inlet 4 to the outlet 5. If the pressure drop is sufficiently large to cause the end face 34 to abut the head portion 15 of the housing, pressure once again builds up in chamber 20. The control member 3 moves to establish an equilibrium position. Thus the end face 34 cannot stick in the recess 22 of the head 15.
