1295643 Floor cleaning machines R G DIXON & CO Ltd 25 Sept 1970 [5 Nov 1969] 54310/69 Heading A4F In a scrubbing, polishing, or other floor treating machine in which a pinion 24 on the drive shaft 26 of a motor 22 drives a crown wheel 25 on the upper surface of a bowl shaped wall beneath which a floor treating brush or pad 21 is mounted, the motor shaft 26 is tilted downwardly towards the pinion 24 and a suction unit 31, connected to a suction nozzle 34, is drivable from the motor 22 via disconnectable driving means, e.g. bevel friction wheels 28, 29.
