Abstract

1292928 Spring wheels J D W GREGG 2 Oct 1970 [17 April 1970 2 June 1970] 18430/70 and 26432/70 Heading B7C A spring wheel comprises one or more integral plastics or rubber moulded wheel units having a rim C connected to a hub D by resilient spokes which are formed of an inner part radially extending from the hub, a spiral intermediate part A, and a circumferential outer part B. A composite wheel may comprise two wheel units connected only at their rims by a tyre E, with their spokes arranged in opposing directions. The spokes may be of an alternative shape wherein their outer parts form a continuation of their intermediate parts and are not doubled back. Rubber stops may be placed between the spokes to alter the resiliency of the wheel.
