Abstract

1288051 Weft tension in shuttleless looms COURTAULDS Ltd 5 Feb 1970 [6 Feb 1969] 6414/69 Heading DIE A jet loom has a drum type weft measuring device and a weft tensioner whose force is variable whilst the weft is being fed to the drum by nip rollers. The tension may also be variable during picking. A graph is shown which describes one cycle of loom operation.
