Abstract

1279919 Seaming non-metallic sheet material THIMONNIER & CIE 16 April 1970 [26 April 1969 7 Jan 1970] 18155/70 Heading B5K [Also in Division B8] A mouthpiece of plastics material for a plastics bag has diametrically opposed blades 5 to which the edges of the sides of the bag are welded. The blades are secured to a frustoconical portion 8 of the mouthpiece, the portion being provided with flutes 3 to assist the welding. The mouthpiece has one or more apertures extending through it and may have a closure cap.
