1276845 Knitted panties or briefs ELBEO MFG Ltd 17 Oct 1969 [21 Oct 1968] 49816/68 Heading A3V [Also in Division D1] A knitted pantie or brief garment comprising a trunk portion composed of two panels each derived from a slit tube of material and comprising a first and a second portion, the first portions 1, 2 forming the front part of the garment and the second portions 3, 4 the back part, the panels being seamed together preferably with a gusset 6 and stocking portions 5, has a different stitch pattern structure in the front part than the back part. Additionally the back part may have more plain or a greater number of slacker stitches than the front part to provide more fabric to accommodate the posterior of a wearer; and tuckstitch or float-stitch structures may be used in both parts. The back part also may have more courses than the front part.
