1275805 Phosphorus esters containing an alkoxyimino group VELSICOL CHEMICAL CORP 23 July 1969 [24 July 1968 29 Aug 1968 (2) 6 Sept 1968 18 Sept 1968 (2) 7 Oct 1968 (2) 13 Feb 1969] 36919/69 Heading C2P The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are alkyl, X<SP>1</SP>, X<SP>2</SP>, X<SP>3</SP> and X<SP>4</SP> are independently selected from O and S, m and n are each 0 or 1, Z<SP>1</SP> is selected from alkyl, alkenyl and wherein A is selected from alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogen, NO 2 , alkylsulphoxide, alkylsulphone, and dialkylamino, q is an integer from 0 to 5, p is an integer from 0 to 3, Z<SP>2</SP> is selected from H and Z<SP>1</SP>, provided that when Z<SP>2</SP> is H then n is 0, and Y is selected from alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino and wherein B is selected from alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogen, NO 2 , alkylsulphoxide, alkylsulphone and dialkylamino, r is an integer from 0 to 5, Q is selected from O, S, alkylene, alkyleneoxy and alkylenethio and t is 0 or 1. They are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula wherein Hal is halogen, e.g. Gl or Br, with about an equimolar amount of an alkali metal salt of the formula wherein M is an alkali metal. The products have insecticidal, acaricidal and nematocidal properties and may be used in admixture with inert solid or liquid carriers, optionally with wetting agents. They may be formulated as dusts, granules, wettable powders, solutions, aerosols or emulsifiable concentrates.
