Abstract
1275650 Photographic exposure control ASAHI KOGAKU KOGYO K K 8 July 1969 [12 July 1968] 34342/69 Heading G2A [Also in Division H3] A photo-conductor controls the charging of a capacitor, and a uni-junction transistor discharges the capacitor whenever the voltage across the capacitor reaches a predetermined level. This produces a train of pulses, one pulse controlling shutter opening and the or a succeeding pulse controlling shutter closing. As shown in Fig.3, capacitor 2, 2<SP>1</SP> or 2<SP>11</SP> is selected according to film sensitivity and aperture setting, is charged through a photo-conductor 1 and discharges through a transistor 3. The first pulse fires an SCR 8 which energizes an electromagnet 14. Electromagnet 14 opens the shutter (not shown) and also opens a switch 14 to allow the second pulse to fire an SCR 12. This energizes a shutterclosing electromagnet 10. Similar circuits are shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the latter including a log converting circuit (19) memory capacitor (21) and field effect transistor (22) for use with SLR cameras.
