Abstract

1,263,927. Dispensing apparatus. LILLY INDUSTRIES Ltd. 30 May, 1969 [31 May, 1968], No. 26257/68. Heading G4D. Apparatus for dispensing a batch of articles comprises a block with rows of holes 2, each of such a size as to hold one article, an upper plate 17 being arranged to select a number of rows. Rightward movement of a gridiron plate 3 uncovers the selected rows into which articles fall. The plate 3 is then moved to the left and surplus articles are swept away. A lower gridiron plate 11 normally closing the lower ends of the holes is then displaced to discharge the articles.
