Abstract

1,262,404. Cases. KRAUSS-MAFFEI A.G. 22 July, 1970 [8 Aug., 1969], No. 35529/70. Heading B8P. [Also in Division E2] A collapsible transport case of synthetic plastics material has two abutting side walls 1, 2, one 1 of the side walls having a slot 5 extending therethrough. The other side wall 2 is provided with a profiled body 6 which cooperates with the slot 5 to latch the two side walls together. One of the walls is provided with a part 4 which overlaps the other wall and if the profile body is mounted on this wall it projects from the part 4. The body 6 is resilient so that it can be snapped into position in the slot 5, the outer face and the upper and lower sides of the slot being bevelled to facilitate the location of the body 6 (Figs. 3, 5, not shown). The body 6 is preferably at an angle of 8 degrees to the perpendicular from wall 2. The sides are hinged to the base so that the case can be flattened for transportation. The upper end of side wall 1 is formed with an edge part 7 which fits into a recess in the upper edge of the wall 2.
