1,240,114. Zip fastener tape; yarns LIGHTNING FASTENERS Ltd. 2 July 1969 [31 May, 1968], No. 26326/68. Headings D1K and D1W. [Also in Division E1] A tape for receiving zip fastener elements constituted by a nylon 6 monofil of helical or other configuration has a warp thread near one edge consisting of a nylon 66 monofil coated with nylon 6 to which the elements are fused. The remainder of the warp threads are cotton. It is stated that the coated warp thread may have a core of metal or textile thread.
