Abstract

1,125,478. Golf club. J. REUTER. 3 Nov., 1966 [1 Dec., 1965], No. 49407/66. Heading A6D. A golf club of the type known as "woods" comprises a head having an upwardly tapered bore, a rigid pin having a corresponding upward taper inserted into but upwardly beyond said bore so that the pin's upper end is exposed, a club shaft having its lower end hollow and fitting over said exposed end, and means for securing the lower end of the shaft to the exposed end of the pin, e.g. an epoxy cement.
