Abstract
The process outlined in Specification 1,051,621 for the production of crystalline zeolitic molecular sieves of the sodium-potassium X-type is modified in that the sodium-potassium aluminosilicate mixture is produced by adding at least one potassium salt to an aluminosilicate mixture prepared from sodium aluminate or aluminium oxide, sodium silicate or silica sol, sodium hydroxide, water and possibly potassium hydroxide, or by adding at least one potassium salt to at least one of the individual components of the mixture before the mixing, or by using, instead of sodium aluminate and/or sodium silicate as starting components, the corresponding potassium compounds as well as, if necessary, sodium salts. Suitable potassium salts are those of the mineral acids, e.g. nitrate, nitrite, chloride, sulphate.
