Draw-out switchgear comprises a circuitbreaker 31 removably mounted by nuts such as 32, 33, 34 on a first insulating panel 11 which is secured to a second insulating panel 12 by rigid load conductors 16, 17, 18 and by rigid line conductors and fuses 13, 14, 15; the whole being carried on channel members 44 slidable in channel members 45 on a main supporting structure 10 which also carries sockets 49 . . . 53 for co-operation with plug-in contacts such as 25, 26, 27.
