1,196,389. Alimentary paste product. NESTLE'S PRODUCTS Ltd. 14 Nov., 1968, No. 54082/68. Headings A2B and A2E. An alimentary paste product is prepared by cooking a shaped alimentary paste having a wall thickness below 0.63 mm. by contact with steam while simultaneously maintaining the paste in a moist state, preferably by spraying with water, and thereafter drying. The shaped paste may be noodle or macaroni. The product may be prepared for consumption by combining with 240-300 c.c. of hot water per 100 grams of products, and permitting this mixture to stand for 1-3 minutes.
