114,042. Marks, E. C. R., (Devilbiss Manufacturing Co.). March 22, 1917. Vaporizing by heat; vapours, delivering. -A medical vaporizer comprises a boiler 4 mounted in a casing 1 and heated by a spirit lamp 3. Suspended within the boiler is a container 10 which is open at the top to the outlet nozzle 9, is perforated at its base, and is formed with studs 16 co-operating with bayonet slots 17 to support an outer container 11 open only at the top. Steam from the boiler passes between the vessels 10, 11, through the contained liquid preparation, and up through the inner vessel 10 to the nozzle 9.
