Abstract

1,023,695. Rope railways. G. DUSTERLOH FABRIK FUR BERGWERKSBEDARF G.m.b.H. Oct. 23, 1962 [Oct. 25, 1961], No. 40134/62. Heading B7L. A ropeway conveyer comprises an endless rope 3 which may be driven in one direction or the other by a driving pulley 1 through a reversing pulley 2 of a winch (not shown). A rail-confined car 8 coupled to the rope 3 is thus transported between a loading and an unloading station. Tension pulleys 5, connected by a rope 10 passing round a pulley 6 loaded by a spring 7, guided in guides 11 transfer tension from the upper to the lower run of the rope 3, by forming a loop round a lower pulley 4 when the drive is as shown by arrow-heads, and from the lower run to the upper run when the driving pulley 1 is reversed.
