1,019,545. Vehicle spring suspensions. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG A.G. Aug. 6, 1964 [Aug. 12, 1963], No. 31984/64. Heading B7D. [Also in Division F2] Each end of a vehicle axle 1 is secured by U- bolts 2 to both a longitudinal leaf spring 3 and a beam 11 the ends of which support a vehicle superstructure 8 through hollow rubber springs 12, 13. The front of the leaf spring is pivotally connected to the superstructure whereas the rear of the spring is secured to a mounting including inclined rubber blocks 10 permitting longitudinal spring movement (Fig. 2, not shown).
