Abstract
1,008,703. Paper bags; tea bags. JAMES R. CROMPTON & BROS. Ltd. July 26, 1964 [July 29, 1963], No. 29920/63. Headings B8C and B8K. [Also in Divisions D1 and D2] A tea-bag is formed of paper (see Divisions D1-D2) which comprises a base layer of ordinary paper-making fibres 15 on to which shorter fibres 20 of a heat-sealable material are deposited in a patterned formation. The patterned disposition of the heat-sealing fibres improves the infusion rate of the bag.
