Abstract

1,008,026. Endless conveyers. P. ZIMMER. Aug. 7, 1963 [Aug. 17, 1962], No. 31086/63 Heading B8A. [Also in Division B6] A conveyer device for use in screen printing a web of material comprises a plurality of separate endless striplike tapes 1 which are separately supported in guides formed by grooves 7 in a printing support table 5 and which run over two rollers 2, 3, one of said rollers being a drive roller. The grooves 7 correspond exactly with the thickness and width of the tapes 1 so that a level printing support is provided and grooves 4 in the rollers project above the tapes so that at the roller 3 the printed web is lifted from small inclined pins in the tapes by the projecting edges of the grooves. In the embodiment of Fig. 2 (not shown) the stationary support table 5 is replaced by beams movable with the doctor etc. and which are provided with guide grooves having wearresistant strip-like supports therein. Stationary strip-like supporting members are provided between the tapes.
