An acoustic ceiling or wall panel comprises a sound absorptive layer 11, e.g. of celluolosic board or glass, rockwool or other mineral fibre, a metal, plastic, paper or other lattice or honeycomb layer 13, the contacting edges of which may be drawn into the layer 11, and a rigid perforated cover plate 15, e.g. of steel or plastics, the edges of which may be turned back over those of layer 11. The layers 13 and 15 may be formed integrally e.g. by moulding.
