A multi-storey, prefabricated building consists of a series of walls 1 interconnected by beams 2 to define a skeleton framework for the reception of dwelling blocks 3 which are hoisted in position from above and supported by members 5 removably mounted in the walls 1. The beams 2 are of angular section and serve as balconies or galleries. Whilst the main conduits 6 are formed in the walls 1.
