[Also in Division F4] In a finned-tube heat-exchanger, ar- ;ranged in the coolant circulation of an I.C. engine, a radial fin 12 provides a helical flow path for a beverage liquid to be heated and the outer casing, for enclosing the heated liquid, has a flexible wall to take up expansion which would occur on :freezing. A cylindrical outer casing 17, of rubber or polyvinyl plastic, surrounds the finned aluminium tube 11, which has an inner copper or aluminium sleeve 10.
