1,088,407. Moulding rings. WESTING- HOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION. May 5, 1966 [June 24, 1965], No. 19851/66. Heading B5A. [Also in Division H1] The turns of coils 20 are held in place by insulating pressure plates or rings 22, composed of 70 to 85% by weight of continuous-filament glass fibre, roving or tape and a heat-curable epoxy or polyester resin, and braced by jackbolts 30 on frame 24, 26. The rings 22 are made by impregnating the glass fibre with the resin (Fig. 6, not shown), winding it on a mandrel (46), (Figs. 4, 5, 6, not shown) and heat-curing it on the mandrel.
