Abstract

1,085,341. Pressurized dispensing containers. CROWN CORK & SEAL CO. Inc. Feb.3, 1965 [Feb. 20, 1964], No. 4649/65. Heading F1R. The piston of a piston-type pressurized dispensing container is cup-shaped and is tapered towards the lower edge to form a tapered wedge of the product to be dispensed between the piston and container walls, the lower edge of the piston being a snug fit in the container. The upper portion of the container may be of larger diameter than the lower portion to relieve the sliding contact pressure.
