Abstract

1,069,981. Garment stands. J. D. CLEGG. April 17, 1964 [April 19, 1963], No. 15446/63. Heading A4U. A clothes airer comprises lower frames 1, 2 and upper frames 3, 4 of metal rod coated with plastic, the lower frames having sheet metal plates 11 welded thereto and pinned together at 12 to form a pivot and the upper frames having plates 16 welded thereto and pivoted by pins 15. Links 17, 20 forming toggle linkages hold the airer erect.
