Abstract

1,065,162. Clocks and watches. GUNZINGER FRERESS.A. Sept. 30, 1964 [Sept. 30, 1963], No.39890/64. Heading G3T. A watertight watch case comprises a casing body 1 having an axially upstanding annular projection 5 which is screw-threadedly engaged internally by a bezel 10 which clamps the watch glass 2 against a sealing ring 8. The outer circumference of the projection 5 is engaged by a snap-on false bezel 9. In modifications the sealing ring is housed in a recess in the glass or partly in the glass and partly in the body 1. A retaining ring (8b) may be fitted, Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown).
