[Also in Division B8] A. collapsible packing case adapted for transportation of grain or liquids comprises side and end walls 22, 23 and 16 hingedly connected to the bottom portion of the case but at varying distances from the bottom panel 12 (Fig. 5, not shown), such that, when collapsed, the side and end walls are substantially parallel to the bottom panel, and a collapsible bag liner 40. The case has a base frame 10, the upstanding .edges of which form stop flanges 11. A case lid 33 is adapted to be secured to the packing case, both in its erected and collapsed states. The inner surfaces of the case and the lid have secured thereto sheets of resilient material. The bag liner 40 is raised from its collapsed position by drawing straps 41 over the sides and attaching them to fasteners 42. The fluid inlet of the bag liner comprises an annular plate 44 secured to the bag and sealed about the lower end of a filler member 48. A closure 51 incorporating a relief valve 52 and a sealing O-ring 54 threadedly engages the filler member. The lid has an aperture therein defined by a retaining flange 58 with slots 59 therethrough, thus allowing the lugs 49 of the filler member to pass therethrough, and upon slight turning of the filler member the lugs engage in notches in the retaining flange. Resilient buffers 60 limit upward movement of the filler member while resilient cups 61 prevent metal parts of the bag filler damaging the bag 40 when collapsed. The bag is provided with a fluid outlet terminating in a discharge cock, the outlet from which is closed by a removable cap.
