Abstract

105,590. Shanks, J. April 14, 1916. Baths, heating; water-circulating apparatus.- Baths, such as leg baths, sitz baths, arm baths, plunge baths, &c., and the like for hydro-therapeutic treatment are provided with a conduit system connected at one end to an inlet in the bath and provided with a pump or similar water-circulating means and a water-heating device if desired, and terminating in nozzles arranged in the bath tangentially to its sides. In the form shown, the water is drawn from the bath 1 by the pump 4 driven by the motor 5 and forced through a heating-device 6 to the tangential nozzles 3. The heating device may be controlled by a thermostat.
