[Also in Division B1] A row of apertures such as 6 in a gas/liquid contact tray has each aperture covered by a valve member 2 guided in vertical movement by a pin 3 extending through an aligned slot in a bar 4 common to all the apertures in the row. The lower ends of the pins may be bent-over, as shown, or thickened to limit upward movement of the valve members.
