Abstract

A tape 1 has a waterproof elongate flexible substrate 2 having first and second opposing surfaces 2A, 2B between first and second edges 2C, 2D. Two strips of adhesive 3, 4 in side by side relationship extend along the length of the substrate on said first surface 2A with a gap 5 between the two adhesive strips. In use said tape can be placed across a joint between two surface with one adhesive strip bonding to one surface and the other strip bonding to the other surface with said gap positioned adjacent the joint. The substrate may be a polymer and may be a polymer damp proof course. The adhesive strips may be provided with removable cover strips. The adhesive strips may be of butyl or bitumen adhesive. The strips of adhesive may be parallel.
