Abstract
La présente invention concerne un pneumatique comportant une bande de roulement destinée à être en contact avec le sol lors du roulage par l’intermédiaire d’une face de contact et une paire de flancs s’étendant à partir de chacune de deux extrémités axiales de la bande de roulement, le pneumatique comprenant au moins un pli placé radialement vers l’intérieur vis-à-vis de la bande de roulement, l’au moins un pli comprenant une pluralité d’éléments de renforcement parallèles s’étendant à un angle A par rapport à l’orientation circonférentielle du pneumatique, l’angle A étant supérieur à 10 degrés, le pneumatique comprenant, en outre, une carcasse placée radialement vers l’intérieur vis-à-vis de l’au moins un pli, au moins un pli radialement intérieur extrême étant pourvu d’une couche de couverture de bord faite d’une composition de caoutchouc conductrice et recouvrant au moins une face radialement intérieure du pli radialement intérieur extrême et s’étendant jusqu’à une distance axiale L mesurée à partir d’une extrémité axiale du pli radialement intérieur extrême, au moins un des flancs s’étendant le long de la carcasse vers le dessous du pli radialement intérieur extrême jusqu’à une distance axiale Le mesurée à partir de l’extrémité axiale du pli radialement intérieur extrême, la distance axiale L étant supérieure à la distance axiale Le, et la couche de couverture de bord formée sur le pli radialement intérieur extrême comportant une partie en contact avec la carcasse.
