L’invention concerne un dispositif (50) de détermination des modes propres d’un élément (22) de turbomachine comportant des aubes (34), le dispositif comportant : un système (52) de mesure des déformations d’au moins une aube (34) configuré pour délivrer des informations représentatives desdites déformations des aubes, le système de mesure comportant au moins un capteur des déformations (54) agencé sur la au moins une aube;un système de génération (60) configuré pour générer un bruit blanc (62) sur une bande de fréquences d’excitation en direction d’au moins une aube équipée d’un capteur, le bruit blanc étant adapté pour faire entrer l’aube en résonance ;une unité de traitement (70) configurée pour déterminer l’évolution des modes propres réels (MPR) de l’aube en fonction des fréquences d’excitation du bruit blanc à partir des informations représentatives des déformations de l’aube soumise au bruit blanc.
