L’invention concerne un dispositif de contrôle de forme d’un triaxe (20) comprenant au moins un profil elliptique, le dispositif comprenant un appareil de contour (2) apte à contrôler la forme d’un contour en déplaçant un palpeur (3) selon un axe de déplacement (D) sensiblement perpendiculaire au palpeur (3) et un support (4) apte à immobiliser un triaxe en regard de l’appareil de contour (2), où le support (4) comprend un premier arbre d’axe horizontal et une cale de manière à présenter un profil elliptique au palpeur (3) et en ce que l’appareil de contour (2) comprend un profil de référence du profil elliptique afin de comparer le profil elliptique palpé avec le profil de référence.
