Abstract

Procédé de séparation des composants d'un mélange gazeux (1) à traiter comprenant du méthane, de l'azote et au moins un hydrocarbure ayant au moins deux atomes de carbone, ou un mélange de ces hydrocarbures, comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) Introduction d'un courant dudit mélange gazeux (1) à traiter à un débit supérieur ou égal à 2 000 000 Nm3/h dans une unité de déméthanisation comprenant N colonnes de déméthanisation (7) ; b) Condensation partielle d'un mélange gazeux (15), comprenant moins de 1 % molaire d'hydrocarbures ayant au moins deux atomes de carbone, extrait de l'unité de déméthanisation (7) pour obtenir un liquide (29) dont au moins une partie est traitée pour être extraite comme produit gaz naturel déazoté (30) et un second gaz (26) ; c) Introduction dudit second gaz (26) dans une unité de déazotation (31) comprenant N colonnes de déazotation dont on obtient un gaz (36) et un liquide (33) dont au moins une partie est traitée pour être extraite comme produit gaz naturel déazoté (30) ; caractérisé en ce que ledit gaz naturel déazoté (30) ainsi produit comprend moins de 5% molaire d'azote et en ce que N est supérieur ou égal à 3.
